Day Twenty-One: Deuteronomy 33:19 "They shall call the peoples to the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they shall partake of the abundance of the seas and of treasures hidden in the sand." (NKJV)
As we come to the close of this 21-Day Journey, let us pause and thank God for the hidden treasures and golden nuggets of spiritual wisdom that we have received from God along the way. Some of us may have yielded to temptation or perhaps others may have stood firm and remained faithful. The whole point of taking this time at the beginning of the year is to pray, mediate, reset, refocus, and prepare for what's to come. Hopefully, we have not been so focused on what's to come that we missed those hidden treasures along the way.
Our verse this evening pertains to the final blessing which Moses spoke into the lives of the tribes of Zebulun and Issachar. He stated that they would "call the peoples to the mountain", the mountain of worship and praise. He stated that it would be there on the mountain that these tribes would offer sacrifices of righteousness and partake of the abundance of the seas and the treasures hidden in the sand. Yes, that's right, one tribe would be tremendously blessed in the area of economic merchandising and travel throughout the seas while the other tribe would be blessed abundantly through hidden treasures, which pertains to agriculture and the fruit of the ground.
Today in our church service at Galilee, we learned about the "power of the foot" and how it symbolizes dominion and authority. God has given us the land, the city, the blessing, the opportunity and everything that's hidden in the ground. We just have to stake our claim and put our foot on it in Jesus' name!
We made it!!!!
