"God is Able!"
Day Fifteen: Ephesians 3:20 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (NKJV)
The story is told of a lady that approached the famous revivalist G. Campbell Morgan after he had finished preaching. The lady asked him, "Do you think that we should pray for even the little things in our lives or just the big things?" He replied, "My sister, can you think of anything in your life that is "big" to God?" As we begin this new day January 15th, we must ask ourselves the question posed to Sarah in Genesis 18:14, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" Of course, the answer is "no!"
Our God is able! What is our God able do? According to the Apostle Paul writing under the unction of the Holy Spirit, He able to exceed all of our expectations in an abundant manner. How can this be one might ask? Our God is omnipotent, which means that He has ALL power. There is no failure, no shortcoming, weakness, no handicap, no disability in our God. Let us remember this week that power belongs to God! Also, let us not forget all of that "power" is at work within us right now. All we have to do is tap in!
Let today be the day that you tap in to the power of God through, prayer, praise, worship, service, giving, random acts of kindness, showing mercy, and believing God for the impossible.
Father, thank You for waking us up early this morning to see a brand new day! Lord, we are grateful for the joy that comes from learning who You are in our lives. You are the Almighty God! There is none like You! We praise You because we know that You're able! There is nothing our God cannot do. We thank You for Your power. Now help us on this week to tap into that same power that lies within us which comes from You, in Jesus' name, Amen!
Song of Praise: "Release Your Power"
Lord, we proclaim You now and Your mighty Power
and your awesome majesty
Lord, come upon us know and release Your Power
and let Your presence fall!
Have a Blessed Day!
